About Me

My background

 I started my career as a trainee chartered accountant before moving into a media agency for 25 years and becoming a Business Director. During this time, I had 3 children and returned to work.  I am also a co founder of a successful outstanding secondary school for boys and girls from all backgrounds and continue to volunteer there. 

Why I decided to become a coach

Becoming a coach felt like a natural career progression for me. I have always gravitated towards roles where I can help others, from helping to set up a school to working as a coach/mentor in a media agency following my return to work after children. It's during this time I came to understand the value of coaching, for all levels within an organisation, not just senior leadership. I went on to achieve my coaching qualification and am a member of the Association of Coaching.   

Experience and empathy

I understand, from my own experience, that there are points in a career where people need to feel supported, for example, just after a promotion or returning to work after becoming a parent.   I bring empathy and experience to my coaching conversations having both managed a team and returning to work as a parent.  I see our coaching journey as a partnership,  we are united in your goal from the moment we begin.
